The blend of sports history and modern mosque architecture makes this site a captivating exploration.
The Great An-Nur Mosque in Pekanbaru once stood beside Dwikora Stadium, also known as Hangtuah Stadium, until its demolition in 2000. At that time, the stadium was a hub for football matches and community events. After it was leveled to expand the mosque area and create a garden, the site now features lush greenery that soothes visitors while preserving the city's historical footprint.
